Heat Transfer Labels FAQ

What’s the difference between heat transfer labels and sewn-in labels?

Heat transfer labels are tagless transfers you apply with a heat press/iron—smooth feel, great for inside neck branding. Sewn-in labels (woven/cotton) are stitched into the garment and are better if you need a traditional label look or prefer sewing instead of pressing.

Can you print full color and gradients?

Yes. We support full color, gradients, and fine detail, which makes heat transfer a strong option for modern logos, small text, and detailed artwork.

What file format should I upload?

Best: AI or PDF (vector) for crisp edges and accurate sizing.
Also accepted: PNG (transparent background, high resolution). If you’re unsure, send what you have—we’ll review it before production.

How long does it take to get a proof?

We send a digital proof before production. Proof time depends on artwork complexity and current volume—submit your details in the quote form and we’ll confirm the proof timeline in our reply.

Will it last after washing?

Heat transfer labels are designed for apparel use and can be wash-resistant when applied correctly. Durability depends on fabric type and pressing settings (temperature/time/pressure). We recommend a small test press and following the application instructions.

Can you help me choose size and placement?

Yes. Tell us your garment type, where you want the label (neck/waist/inside), and your logo size preference. We’ll suggest a practical size and placement and include it in your proof.
